Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. My sins have separated me from You.
I am sorry, and I ask you to forgive me.

I believe that Your Son Jesus died on the cross & was raised back to life again for me. He is alive today, and he hears my prayers. I now open the door of my heart and invite Jesus to be my Lord and Savior.

Lord, make me the person You want me to be. I give You control & ask You to reign in my heart so that Your perfect will would be accomplished in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord,

I humble myself before you and confess my sin. Thank you for hearing my prayer & helping me return to you.

Lately, I’ve been wanting things to go my own way. As you know, this hasn’t worked out.
I see where I’ve been going the wrong way—my own way. I’ve been placing my faith & trust in everyone & everything but you.

Lord, I return to You and Your Word. I pray for guidance as I listen for your voice. Change my attitude so that instead of focusing on others and events to meet my needs, I can turn to you and find the love, purpose, and direction I seek. Help me to seek you first. Let my relationship with you be the most important thing in my life.
